Doll Discoloration

Ruthie was our first AG. DD got her three years ago. She's been in her box in a closet since we moved a year and a half ago. We just brought her back from Ohio last month. Next to Kit, who DD got 10 months after Ruthie, her skin looks gray. Compared to the other dolls, she has the same strange tint. Is this normal for older dolls? Or is this something random? I have seen PM dolls on ebay and in pics on the board that still look like they have a nice natural tone. Anyone else ever have a doll turn gray/grayish?

I was getting ready to send her in to the doll hospital to get her limbs tightened. Will they check this out if I write a note?

Also, DD's bitty twin girl has been wearing the orange and red tights that go with that sweater play outfit for a bit. Today she decided to change them into something else. She took the tights off and her Natalie has three small black dots on her legs. Two are on the bottom of one foot, and the other dot is on the other leg.

I am sure I can get the dots to come off. Can someone please post the Oxy/baking soda remedy? If there is a specific usage amount or other ingredient.

My Felicity actually is quite grayish. She defintly doesn't have the skin color of some of my other dolls. Plus my Sam is pretty gray too....so I don't think it is that abnormal for older dolls to be grayish. [img]graemlins/wonder.gif[/img]

My Kirsten is greenish/gray. She came from ebay (DH) so I don't know if she was always like this or turned that way. I got her on CHristmas morning and by 1:00 we were flying to PA. I hadn't had alot of time to play with her so I was brushing her hair on the plane. We thought she had motion sickness [img]graemlins/gulp.gif[/img] .
